Jason Tomes, D. Phil.

Dr. Jason Tomes has been a lecturer in history and politics for Boston University’s British Programs since 1996. Between 1993 and 1995, he taught in Poland at Warsaw University and Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan. He was deputy editor of Margaret Thatcher: Complete Public Statements 1945-1999 (1999) and is the author of two books: 'Balfour and Foreign Policy: The International Thought of a Conservative Statesman' (1997) and 'King Zog: Self-Made Monarch of Albania' (2003). He has also stood for election in local politics. 

He holds a D.Phil. in International Relations from Nuffield College, Oxford, and an MA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Merton College, Oxford.
